About ME

Hi, I’m Miranda!

I’m an environmental engineer and sustainability professional based in Queen Creek, Arizona. I work in regulated, technical environments where structure, accountability, and clear communication matter — and I genuinely enjoy building systems that are thoughtful, organized, and built to last.

I’m also a proud girly-girl in a male-dominated field. I wear my pink hard hat and don’t believe professionalism requires erasing femininity. I care deeply about my work, I’m career-oriented and driven, and I take pride in doing things well — but I also believe you can be soft, expressive, and human while still being competent and respected.

Outside of work, I’m someone who thrives on structure and routine. I like knowing the plan, keeping things organized, and making steady progress toward long-term goals. I spend a lot of time at the gym, recently fell in love with Pilates, and will always say yes to good food. I’m a foodie at heart, deeply close with my family, and a dog mom to two very different pups — one from a shelter and one who was… a significant investment (the shelter dog is far better behaved, for the record).

I’ve lived in nearly ten different states and traveled to almost all fifty, experiences that shaped how I see people, communities, and the importance of adaptability. They taught me how to walk into unfamiliar spaces, find my footing, and build connection — skills that show up just as much in my personal life as they do in my professional one.

This website is a reflection of all of that. It brings together my work in environmental engineering and sustainability, my interest in leadership and communication, and my belief that you don’t have to shrink or simplify yourself to belong. I’m proud to be a woman engineer. I’m proud to hold onto my femininity in spaces that don’t always expect it. And I’m proud to be continually growing — learning, refining, and working toward a wide range of goals and aspirations that matter to me.
